There is a lot of belt tensioners out there that put the tension on the opposite side of the belt because that's all they had room for. But the proper way to tension a belt is on the SLACK side. So Charles from Magnum Powers & I came up with the design and we are testing it with great results. It is currently on Chillfactors Truck Which had belt slip at 18 pounds of boost and now it does not. We are seeing just over a pound of increase and longer belt-life since there is no more slippage. This cross brace will work on all the blowers out there. Prices will be available in approx. 5 days. Here are some pictures.

Looks like a neat part. Is it a true "tensioner" though (with a hidden spring, for example), or just an idler?
Also, isn't that the slack side, not the "drive side?"

Exactly how much tension does that add to the pulley system?
