where does drain on lower manifold go?

there is a drain located on the bottom of the lower intake manifold.
it is for oil that is sucked into the intake through the PCV valve to drain into.
Where does it drain to?
the crankcase?

that damn hole has confused me for the last year.

Man that sucks, I just pulled my intercooler to clean it and sprayed a small amount of carb cleaner in that area and wiped it down to get rid of the oil. My truck is still down so I am going to change the oil before I fire it up. Do I have anything really to worry about?
Thanks
