Question Ftvb Or Jlp Vb Or Line Mod

What does the factory tech valve do for the trans other then improve the shift. Will it pro long the life of the trans. How does it rate with the JLP valve body. Will the line mod do the same for the shift. All I have is a chip now and it shifts ok. I just would like to be able to say that my truck will cherp 2nd.

If the line mod will do about the same why spend all the money on the valve body. All the valve bodies that I have put in the past was just to get the trans brake. So I would just like to know what it will improve.

Thanks to all the Lighting guys and grils for your help.

FTVb is the best anywhere. It makes you shift faster and it does prolong tranny life

I am not looking to strat a flame war. I just see a big jump in the $$ amounts. I do not care about the $$$ I just do not like to spend the $$ in the wrong place. For the JLP valve body I was just looking to see if someone had one and how it worked. My truck is all JLP and I like it. It was something that I have not seen taked about. I will buy what is the best for the truck. Just would like to have some input from someone before I spent the $$$.

Thanks one more time

I've had both. The FTVB and the JLP valve body. I can't tell the difference. I personally have had no luck with factory-tech stuff.
I had two Monster boxes with his converter. One lasted a 1K miles, about a month and half. The second one lasted 5-6 months about 3,500 miles. I now running JLP's trans and converter for about a thousand miles. So far so good. My truck makes about 400 HP/500 FT LBS.

Why didn't he (Factory Tech) make good on your stuff? With that short of a life span, I would have thought he would have done SOMETHING for you.

Factory-tech did rebuilt the first monster box at no cost. He also paid about half the shipping and installation costs. When the second monster box failed I didn't persue it. I was unhappy with his products and decided to cut my loses and move on. If any body is intrested I still have the Total Domanator converter, but I'm afraid to sell it to anyone it might have been the cause of the problems. Buyer beware.
