Last night at E-town there were a few ricers running 10's and 11's @ like 88 mph (because they were off the gas). A couple of them running 11's were front wheel drive. I hate the way they sound, and don't dig the way they look, but you gotta repect the technology and work that goes into making those things fly.

Of course the ricer attitude is a different story for some of them...

Now that we are paying $2.25++ per gallon for crappy 91/92 octane I am very glad I don't have to feed the L right now.

The ricer attitude cracks me up. Wings and decals are the speed secrets.

The local WRX/STi crowd out here is not like that at all. Very similar to the L crowd. More interested in making a faster/better ride than talking smack. In fact there are some L brothers that have joined me on the dark side. Coincidently one of the WRX/STi aftermarket parts manufacturers is local here and the owner just bought an L. He helps me with the STi and I help him with the "shop truck".

Hmmmm. Where have we seen this before -- a parts truck way cooler than the ricers it services?

IMG-wigger
Let's take it to the track, punk. I'll even shunt my EBC to 8 PSI.

I guess if the STi/Evo's fall into the "ricer" stereotype. The L must be a redneck hillbilly farm truck. Is that a gun rack in your back window Tim? Almost didn't see it through all the empy Bud cans in the bed.
