I remember when I caught a load of chit for putting a cowl hood on my truck. Some members "thought" cowl hoods belonged on GM products, so it had no bussiness on a Ford.
But then again, Iam paying for my truck, so like Redlightn 02, I want to make my truck my own.
preach on At least this guy is doing somthing with his truck, and he thought it was cool. If everyone did the same thing how fun would this site be. Negative comments are better left unsaid.

Not everyone wants a 11 second track monster... some people just want to look good. Is this "practical"? Well, on the street or in a parking lot, look-good mods are alot more practical than a KB and some bigger pulleys. The majority of the public doesn't know anything about performance mods... other than some of them make things faster. It depends who you're trying to impress. Most people don't know much past "that's a nice truck".
It's all a matter of preference. Some people just don't get it. If you feel the need to try to make someone feel bad about what they've spent their time/money on, then go to some adolescent AOL chat room, or something.
