I'm curious, what kind of chrome molding is that? Like the kind that does on door guards, or around wheel wheels? Or are they Home Depot kind of items (not automotive stuff)?

Also don't forget the $3.95 DIY heat shield for the intake!

It's the wheel moulding you can purchase at a n automotive store.

LightninGuy, yeah my mistake, thought you were someone else, any ways you are entitled to your opinions but could you explain what's rice about it. Many of the L owners on here have chromed grills, wheels, gas caps, graphics
billet pedals and fancy intakes and also rear spoilers. If it's the spoiler, that design came straight from the Nascar/Nastruck series and can you get any more American? The lights on the back might be in question but that's more for my peace of mind when driving here in Florida and I think similar lights were used like in the late 70's and 80's on some US cars, anyways these Forums are about sharing neat tricks and money saving mods if you are on a tight budget. BTW Most Ricers use Nitrous, does that mean the L's on here with Nitrous are Rice too?

Peace...Bert.....AKA....DABOLT

What kind of paint is that on the boot? I tried painting something like that before and all the paint flaked off in 3 months.

I kinda agree with the guy above. I don't understand why one would buy a Lightning, only to change it into the look of a non-Lightning. Why not buy a F-150 XL and do all the same mods to it? Just my opinion.....
