Zach, thanks for your service and

welcome home from an old vet from S.E. Asia Fun Fair. Congrats on your new truck. Lots of well informed guys here with good advice. Think they might have forgot? When you get FTVB & Pan Greg is giving you, be sure you remove any tranny shifting modifications in your chip, predator, SCT. The FTVB will give you all you need!

THANKS FOR THE INFO

I was wondering about that...so it will actually hurt my tranny if I don't change the tuning?

The FTVB is designed to firm up and make the shifts a little quicker by upgrading parts in the factory valve body. With a chip controlling your tranny, most up the line pressure causing the truck to shift harder. I think if you combine these two you may be forcing the tranny to shift too hard. This will probably be uncomfortable when it shifts and may cause premature wear on driveline parts.

BTW how did ya'll do at the track? Sorry I missed out but I didn't get home from work until after 10:30.

nightcrawler...

I was the only Bolt there friday. I ran a 13.52 @102. I hate that track man, and the heat is not helping me out any either.

Ya, with 2 things going against us (heat and track conditions) I don't think we will set any record breakers.
...Maybe we should all get together one Friday afternoon and head to the track in San Antonio. Or if ya'll are feeling up for a nice drive there's Ennis or Houston Raceway Park, both about the same distance from us. Or maybe I'm the only one whose tired of running mid 13's with $1800 in mods

$1800? I'm more mad...

Rich has been talking about that also. I'm down man. I honestly have about 3500 dollars in mods and mid 13's just make me mad. I mean it's quick and I do win races but I know it can do better.
