Arrow moisture in tail light

well im getting moisture in my passenger side tail light. They are aftermarket all black ones so Im not surprised. Does anyone have any suggestions. I was thinking of drilling a small hole, but where on the light will be most effective and no noticeable.

Don't feel bad my driverside factory does the same thing! I'm going to pull it out and drill a 1/16" dia. hole in the bottom. to see if that fixes it! Artie

My 01 L's right tail light got moisture in it a year or so ago. All I did was drill(Unibit drill--one of the greatest-ever inventions) two small(?) holes in the cover; one near the front/side and one in the rear so air would flow through. No need to remove anything. Worked like a 'charm'.

I don't think that the location makes any difference, nor the size.

So, to keep out bugs and not invite water collection, why not the smallest bit you have drilled right at the very bottom of the rear surface? That way, any water that gets in the hole can drain right out.

AMEN, Brother! I have three different sizes. Not only are they soooo convenient, but they also just never seem to dull or wear out.

I have used them to drill out holes in the frame. Went through like a hot knife through butter.
