I just got a call no more than 1 hour ago from a guy named Dave (he is the former SVT Specialist I bought my Cobra back in 99, and then the Lightning in 02 from.
It appears Mc Carville Ford has so many left over L's, they resorted to putting "new ones" on the used car lot portion of the Dealership. He called me from the Dealership to tell me the sticker is 28K and then they automatically take another 1500 off that in Rebates.

does he still work there. I am thinking I should trade in my truck and let Ford figure it out on their time while I drive a new L.
Or do you know anyone there I should speak to?

No unfortunatly he doesn't, but he said that 28K is clearly marked on the sticker, and then there's a 1500 rebate WITHOUT TALKING THEM DOWN. I bought my Cobra from him there, then when I went back and tried to get a L the new SVT guy (at the time) was a useless idiot, so I walked out and tracked Dave down at Sayville Ford (and bought the L) or waited on a list for months I should say. Then he moved to a Diff dealer on RT347 in Port Jeff or Setauket (had my Bro + Sister in law buy vehicles there from him) Now he started his own Contraction Business and I deal with him here at work.
But Yes one of our Cobra Brothers is the Mgr, OR SOMETHING over at Mc Carville Ford. I'm trying to remember if he gave me a card, Josh should know him, I met him at the Long Island Cobra / SVT meet at Hooters.
If your serious, Call Dave and tell him I said to call,
he can def tell you who to see there I'm sure.

Schitt I'm home now, that was the Tel# he left TODAY.
The message was left on my desk, the girl must have written down the wrong #, ()!@^$#(@&$#(@#$(&$#
He called me back before I got to call, I can look in my phone book tommorrow, I may have the correct one written down somewhere, sorry Bro....
But why would he call me from the Dealership and say there IS a 1500 rebate on top of the 28K ??? I'm sure he asked his old pals, thats the only reason he called me (to tell me I can get a new L for 28K minus 1500) I'm sure if you wanted one, they'd take another 1500 off if it was a deal breaker.
