Take the illegal tinit off then put on legal tint then show up in court and plead not guilty. Have them measure the tint on your truck.... lol

That's a quick way to get a guilty verdict. Who do you think the judge is going to believe, the cop or the driver?

The best way to fight the ticket is to remove the tint and have it replaced with legal tint. Show the invoice to the judge and explain to him that you weren't aware that the tint you had was illegal. I'll almost guarantee you will get off.

And if you had a motorcycle to he wouldn't have given you a ticket.

A long time ago, I was pulled over for by a state trooper, and he asked me if my tint was legal. I said, "Nope". He asked if I was going to take it off. I said "Nope". So then he asked if I was going to just accept a ticket the next time I get pulled over. I said "I don't plan on getting pulled over again".

Yes, I was a 19 year old smart a** kid at the time, but he let me off with a verbal warning. And I got other tickets in that car, but no other cop ever said anything about the tint.

Wow, around here you pay court costs wether you go to court or not, I call TLC Traffic Law Center, they are cheaper than a standard attorney with set fees for the different fines. And fines are all they do so they know all the ins and outs.
