FJO install almost done - PIC!

Well its all wired and the control box is mounted on the plate where the stock airbox was, I had to extend the wires on the sensor 5ft so I could mount the box there. The only thing left is to get to my muffler guy for an 02 bung in the left mid pipe before the cat.

Here is a pic, the reason it says ERR is because the sensor itself is not plugged in but I did test it and it said 20.00 with it just hanging the engine bay so I know my wire extension worked. Its really going to set off my gauges at night

I had my display installed in the same place. I mounted my box under the drivers seat. There is already a larger rubber grommet under the seat right over the 02 sensor. It's a very clean install and keeps the control box away from the heat and elements.

It's a wide band AF meter/gauge.

You probably wouldn't hook it up anyway

I like the white faced gauges so much and they match the dash gauges during the day almost peferct.

The BF series are very nice it was just my preference.

I incorporated the meter into my dash

Mounted box behind seat

Also got the data logging software, a must for anyone tuning their own trucks.

Orlando I thought about putting it there but I would rather have it right in my face if at all possible.

Anyways,

I got my truck down the my muffler guy today to get the bung installed. I gave him a dead O2 sensor I had to plug the hole while I drove it back to my dealership where I work.

Well 6pm rolls around I get it in the shop put it on the lift and atttempt to remove the dead O2 sensor and install the FJO one and its stuck in the new bung. He must of left it in there when he welded the bung and its welded itself to the bung now. I guess its back to the muffler shop tommorro to have that cut out and a new bung installed.

I was so hoping to get this done tonight

Bob

I also looked at mounting mine there, but decided it was to low and would be hard to see. I have mine mounted where Bob put his.

OrlandoSVT; I thought my directions said you are only supposed to mount the box flat?
