Congratulations on your 5 year mark and thank you for your service...BTW...have you thought of mounting some c-130 guns
on that pretty Lightning...flip some JATO on the sides...tie it to the belly of that beauty of a B1...let that L fly over IRAG for some good
old AF show and tell!

Thanks Georgia_Moon,

Actually I've been pondering the idea of a 30mm cannon so I can blow the chit out of some of these A$$ hole drivers we have here...cut me off...target lock...se YA!!!!...lol. Actually I have a clip at work of this suburban with a cannon in it. It raises out the top and is fully functional, it is freakin sick.

I understand your frustration with those drivers...here in Atlanta it's a kill zone along the Atlanta perimeter...Sometimes I think the drivers here have a death wish and they want to take you with them....Instead of the 30 mm cannons have you considered maybe some jelly belly gas launched from a "explosive and portable object"?

Ha! I grew up in St. Pete and have also spent a few nights out at Gandy and many at Beer Can Island as well as Shell Island and Egmont Key. It is cool to hear people talk of these places.

Air Force for 5 1/2 yrs and counting!

I'm stationed with AFchad at Macdill AFB Tampa! Plus there are two or three more Lightnings on base. He's got the fastes one, but at least I can say I have the biggest rims. "Twinkie Two's"

Hey ND4SP, I was at Dyess about a year and a half ago. 9th Bomb Squadron Bats!! I worked PS&D. I have a Red 99 Lightning. I think I had the only Gen. 2 Lightning at that time also. I see they have the BONE on static now from your picture. Looks good, but better when its flying!

Been in the Air Force for 5 1/2 yrs now. Stationed at Randolph here in SanAntonio. I am currently a medic, applying for a spec. ops. position though. The military is great and owning an L while serving... well it doesn't get much better while you are in!

Allways good to hear from a fellow ET. 13 years (85-98). Spent 11 of those years around Puget Sound Washington (Whidbey, Bremerton and Everett).

Thanks to all, past and present, who put their lives on the line to protect our freedom.

USN EOD. I'm in Spain. My 02 L is sleeping in storage in the states. I just saw a Silver 02 here on base. I didn't think I'd see one in Spain. and it's HOOYAH!
