I'm in the Air Force stationed at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. Been in for 13 years now. Believe it or not there are 4 Lightnings here on base. A couple look like crap (never clean). I don't think they do any mods on theirs either. Too bad they don't know the potential of the Lightnings.

Ex-Navy here. Or Squid, whatever you prefer. Was in from '86 - '92. 3 + 3. Gunner's Mate Guns 3rd Class. Was stationed on an ammo supply ship and was primarily an explosives handler and made sure the security force knew how to handle small arms and made sure the magazine sprinkler systems worked. Nukes? I can neither confirm nor deny the presence.

I have an affinity towards past and present Service members of all branches. It's not every day that you run into one but when you do there's an unsaid relation there that only a serviceman/servicewoman can relate to.

Here here to you all, past and present.

Didn't mean to highjack the thread, just wanted to take a moment to express my support to all our troops, wherever they may be.
Hell yeah. We love you guys.

FLBigDog and Gator....small world isn't it? I see another white "L" riding around every now and again that kind of looks like mine.
I race the Gandy bridge sometimes.....as there is always alot of cars out. On Saturdays, there is quite a few "L" and Mustangs out and meet at the Sonic on Gandy.
My big even will most likely be Gainsville. Think I will enter the Tough Truck competition.

My son is a mechanic on the F-18 Hornets--USMarines. He's personally into the 4 wheel drive stuff--but I took him a little ride in my L recently when he was home. "OMG" and "Holy *****" are about the only things I can type here that he said about the somewhat peppy and brisk acceleration rate he experienced!
