Pulley or Traction Bars???

Guys, what mod should I do next? 6# Pulley or Cal Tracs???

I'm sure a lot, if not most of you will say the pulley. I just think it may be better to have a way to get the power to the ground first, them add more power.

What do you think????

unless you are getting slicks then the bars are not that important

If you bracket race, get the bars. They'll make you much more consistant. For the street, it's hard to beat the increased torque of an oversized pulley.

What mods to you have presently?

traction bars.

First stop the rear end from hopping
THEN
add more power.

Doing it the other way is stupid IMO

You're gonna mess something up if you're adding power and don't install traction bars. I started to get really bad axle wrap and pretty much eliminated it with JL's bars (only street driven). If you have the FTVB, this is a must. Most tuners offer traction bars, so look into those before getting the pulley.

I dont know about the #6lber......but with my #4lber and no traction bars, I am able to get consistant 1.8xx 60ft times on the stock F1's......and the truck is LOTS more fun to drive around in!!!
