This might be a stupid question but, Why didnt you just pop that dash oval thing out, and do all the steps outside of the truck? Im sure you had a reason as to why you didn't, but i just figured i would ask.

Good question.
When you pop the piece out you notice its not plastic but rubber and very flexable. So it would not retain the proper shape outside the cab as it would installed.

I have never poped mine out, only seen it done. I can understand now why you would keep it in. Does the cab have that nasty resin smell still lingering?

This pod will house a volt gauge and a water temp gauge that will read the intercooler fluid temp and trans temp(got 2 sensors, thanks Tim Skelton for the info on your site). I will then install my EGT gauge on the steering wheel column where it will be easily monitored. On the A-pillar is my fuel pressure gauge and boost/vaccum gauge. I should have enough useless gauges as Konig tells me to qualifiy as a "Ricer".

I will just run wire somehow threw the dash.... don't have any clue yet how to do it or if there is room. I'll make room if i have to.

Looks sweet man. I have thought of putting a triple pillar pod on my truck along with my steering column mount gauge but i think it would be too "ricey" but you never know till you try and im selling my metcos so ill have some money for all the gauges or bed rug choices choices

all you need are some "NOS" floor mats and some LED washer nozzles to add a finishing touch.

It's all good, at least I don't have a hideous bed cover.
