I showed her this thread for humor and she did a big nono. There will always be he said she said and this is not the place for it. I could say argue against several of those things on here , but I'm not on here and I'm not at home. I'll spare her on her b-day occasion.

Kelly, I really wish I could have seen some of the edited out posts! I was joking, of course. My g/f and I go through the same thing every now and then, what's ours is ours, blah, blah. Thank God she did not read my earlier post! She is also one of a kind...she got me my R/C mini-Lightning for Christmas!

yes, i am p-whipped. Thats the contract rules to get the p. I wish i didn't edit her reply's. I felt she was kinda going off, so i left her conclusion. What really made me mad was she was talking non-sense about zo6s beating up on L's. I told her to get back on here but not to go crazy...she might sometime later

There's only one logical thing to do now. Trade in the Camaro for another L! Now get to gettin` rid of that Chevy so you can both be in a Lightning all of the time!

Seriously, though, if some damage would occur to either vehicle, you'd probably be out more if it happened to the Lightning than if it happened to the Camaro. Maybe I'm just a Chevy-hater, though.

WHEN I WAS married, NOT ONCE EVER did the Wife drive
ANY of my Chevelles, Camaro, Stang's, Cobra, Nova, "OR ANY" CAR OF MINE for that matter, I bought her her own car.
(Although she's always claimed ONCE she put the heat up real high one night, til I fell asleep, and then took one of my Chevelle's out *!#@#*!@!((#!*(#(!*#!*##*!#
We're long divorced now, (I divorced her), partially because of that story Well ok there were some other issues.... hehehehehe

To me a car is MUCH MORE than a Car, and to me
A Lightning IS NOT just a truck (I don't even like Pick Up Trucks)
When someone asks me what I'm driving, I answer a Lightning,
THIS AINT NO TRUCK, it's a got dam race car disguised as thee most beautiful mean looking SOMETHING, (it just happens to have a bed in the back) Now A Dodge, THATS A TRUCK,
Buy her a SRT-10, or one of them Hemi's

My GF luckily has a brand new car, newer than mine.... so she only asks to drive every now and then. I usually let her if its hwy driving, or just to the store....but never alone, never

She is selling her car in a year or so, I think she wants a cobra... but Im sure it would be an 99-02 or something, I think a supercharged one would be a bad idea....she drives pretty offensively compared to me.... most of the time anyhow.

Everytime I "allow" John to drive my truck, he rearends someone or scuffs up the rims.

My feelings are, if something bad is going to happen to MY truck, I'd rather be driving it.

Two years ago in August, I totaled my first Lightning (the ever so beautiful 94). Of course I was totally heartbroken and actually cried -- not because I was hurt but because my baby was in shambles. Now, had that been John driving and HE totaled my baby, I don't think I would have forgiven him to this day.

It't just one of those things. If you damage it, you can live with it. If someone else damages it, that's a problem.

I will add that while driving John's 94 two years ago, I was rearended and pushed into the car in front of me. His poor truck had damage at both ends. He's much less materialist than me, I guess. And when I say materialist, I ONLY mean when it comes to my truck. Nothing but the best for her. Afterall, she boosts my confidence and makes me look good everytime I'm behind the wheel!!!

You gotta go my route...no gf or wife.

But serious, I lay down the law when someone rides in my truck. Only touch the handles, no food, and the only person I would ever think about letting drive it is my dad.

And I dont even have an L!
