I'm in the dog house.
I always find it interesting how women can make men feel and do things they would normally never ever consider. It never ends; 22 years and counting here. Basically, women don't need to understand my automotive feelings.
I can't believe I am hearing all of this. First, it's your truck, you make the payments, you drive it whenever you want. Second, and far more importantly, are these facts:
-There are 145 million women currently living in the U.S.
-There are fewer than 30,000 Gen 2 Lightnings in existence.
The numbers don't lie; women are everywhere, you own a rare piece of history!

NEVER LET HER DRIVE!!!!
infact, when she rides with you drive aggressively, taking off fast, barking 2nd. Heck she never wants a ride in the thing anymore.
(thank you Mr. Gregg Evans)
the FTVB is the one mod that she can't stand and doesn't want to drive the truck

1. N doesn't own the L. He doesn't make payments. It was a gift. Therefore, his grandfather actually should be able to drive it whenever....
2. This woman is not everywhere. I am a damn cool girl and he knows it.
3. Without me, a lot of the stuff on the truck wouldn't have gotten done. Example, after N got the L, I used $3000 on my CC to have major work done to the L. I have paid for all of the major work since, also. I bought his vital radar detector and I've paid hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars for premium gas, which my car doesn't get so the L can.
After that, I must say thank you to all of you who said to let me drive the truck. The point of the argument is not that I want to drive the truck, the point is that there is no order of importance when it comes to OUR posessions as a COUPLE. He seems to think that because the L is "special" that it is more special than my car. Which it isn't. If we didn't have my car, we wouldn't have gotten to work when the L was broken down or having work done to it. And which vehicle did we take on trips back home to see family....the Camaro! Why, because of gas mileage.
I could go on and on, but I will spare you all.
Thanks all of you guys for making a wonderful thread! Even the ones that I disagree with, I still enjoyed. I'm not a horrible wench of a girlfriend who can't drive and cares only of myself, I just think that N needs to realize what he has...
Hope you all have wonderful times in your L's. I know that on the rare occasion when I get to drive N's, I have a good time. The best is the look I get from other L drivers when I get out of the truck.
Love you Nathan. Be good.
Vroom, vroom...
