Feedback On Built 5.4 Pistons???

Neal,

The final machining done by eagle is better than Manley's, and I believe eagle sells them, in matched sets, whereas manley does not match them.

I guarantee you they come off the same forge in china, the difference is in how they are sorted and finished here in the USA, and eagle does a better job. They also use stronger ARP 2000 rod bolts.

ok that makes a little more sense, its not that the rods are any stronger or better, just that they were paired better.

HI!... Well I got some prices from local speed shops today.

MAHLE PISTONS - PART # MOD220571I16 = PRICE $914.25(CAN)

EAGLES ESP "H" beam rods PART # EAGCRS6657F3D = PRICE $ 1063.75(CAN)

Not bad for Canadian prices. I couldn't get these parts this cheap if I ordered directly from MODMAX or MAHLE's distributors. lol! It's nice when you have connections. lol! Will be ordering the pistons in a week or so and the rods in about a month. Getting there slowly.......
