That's some great numbers...that would convert to around 538/514 on a dynojet. Those are some pretty stout numbers for a stock block. Have you considered a smaller upper and keep the rpm down on the engine? I know you're still sorting things out, but that's a very encouraging beginning.

considering we originally wanted to rev to 6000-6500 rpm's we think its best to play it safe. atleast til we get a few passes on it.

i have a 10 lb lower thats itching to go on. but that wont happen for a long time.

No spray. Thats my only rule for him so far. We want to keep it conservative since he WILL NOT be getting a new block until next winter. Look for serious power increases for NMRA finals in September or maybe Stanton.
