Looking good! Where are you routing the oil feed and return lines? My return is going to the pan, but I'm still nt sure on the feed. I was thinking of routing it to the back of the left head, but it is difficult to access.

Easter -

When I put a Vortech on a 4.6 motor I had in another car, the oil-pressure feed came from the bottom of the oilfilter / lower radiator / oil pressure sensor feed "tree" on the drivers side of the motor.

There was just a 1/4 NPT (I think) plug in the bottom that I took out and threaded a new fitting into.

If not I think you can just take the oil pressure sensor out, install a tee and come off of that for the oil..

Boost is boost, no matter what makes it. He'll have it tuned in no time. Cobra guys are pushing boost with turbos and centrifigals and have no issue as long as you have enough fuel and the MAF isn't pegging. There are more options now that the Cobra's are making serious power.

Very nice. Installing is going to be the easy part compared to tuning it and makin it run...IMHO. I bet the fun starts now. Looks like an great challenge, and it's going to be so nice when finished.

I thought that would be the easiest way, but the instructions from Paxton say the galley plug from the right rear head(you know the plug the dealers often leave out when replacing a head). I'm not sure why. Maybe it has to do with the oil being at a different pressure there than below...

Nice to see someone venture down a path less traveled rather than play follow the leader.

On another note, holy bends in the tubing Batman. Looks like serious turbulance. What is your MAF and T/B size?

Well I guess we will see in a few weeks, but I do not think "he will have it tuned in no time".... and I'm sure the MAF will be pegging.
