Well let me just start off by saying that I am having a great time running on the track again!!! The truck is running great!!!! I am running the stock eaton and ran a 11.62 in t&t (is that a record?). I then made a small change and went 11.72 deep staging (an 11.5 may not be too far away!!!).

I know Johnny is running great and is just out to have a great time and go rounds. It has been a great time so far. It is nice to run easy and not breat anything.

Amazon Racing didn't have that great of a weekend as they blew up both the Lightning and the Cobra.

On another note, I understand that de-tuning could make one more consistent, but if you look at the unofficial results posted prior, the winner was a 10 sec. truck. Now that is fun to watch. I am not interested in watching a tuners truck go 11.5 sec's or slower at these events. Tuner trucks are supposed to be running all out to showcase their products. I think de-tuning in that regard is for wusses.

Did something happen to Johnny's truck during qualifing? I checked the site today to see how everyone did, and his name is not listed in ANY of the elimination rounds??

that list i posted was indeed qualifying order as the nmra runs an open comp format (much like brackets) which takes your best outta three qualifying passes and knocks a tenth off of it and that is your dial for sunday. and its run under a .500 pro tree with .000 being a perfect light.

they were having issues with there 19.2 kb(cell phone) internet connection so some of the 1st round eliminations weren't posted but they said they'll do their best to update when they get a real connection.
