My brother has an 01 Lightning also. He uses REM's tune with a diablo chip and I must say that for 20,000 miles on that tune, he has had no problems whatsoever and the truck is insane. Nothing special....a 4# lower, ported tb, ported plenum, and an REM air intake. He ran 12.80 @ 106 down here in the Florida heat. Now granted, I would NOT use REM's tune in my 03 but his 01 tunes are incredible. Everyone that rides in my bro's 01 is amazed at how fast it is. It gets real hot here in Florida and he beats the truck often and 20,000 trouble free mod miles. People will have good and bad things to say about REM but Paul's a pretty good guy and his 01 tune is , like I said, awesome. He has an 01 himself and he basically said that the reason his 01 tune is so good is because he has an 01 and he has spent a lot of time on the tune. Just some advice. Good luck gettin it back together.
