Cutting Frame, don't use a torch is it will weaken frame around the cut.

Ouch!

A helpful hint if you don't mind, on the drivers side notch I used the snubber bolt and a line clamp to secure all of the wiring that runs on that side of the frame. It's a tight fit but it works and no messy wires all over the place

Looks like a nice job dude

I ended up running the 2 cables above the bolt you see on the top front of the driverside notch. On the reverse side is a bracket that the cables runs ontop of and prevents the cables from popping out. The 2 cables then can be pushed untop of the notch to further prevent movement. I will check in a week to make sure nothing has moved and come loose.

Thanks for the tip

The ride is nice and smooth now, almost like stock.

Tampa, thanks for the pics. Two questions: what's your suspension setup, and which company's c-notch is that? I'm getting a Western Chassis notch installed this week on my HD, appreciate you sharing your experience.

I'm running an all Western Chassis set-up. It comes out to a 4/4 drop.

I have:
WC 2" Lowering A-Arms
WC 1" Coils
WC Hangers and Shackles
WC C-Notch
So-Cal Adjustable Rear endlinks
Energy Suspension bumpstops and front endlinks
Herb Washers and Napa cam bolts
and Truck Trak Slapper Bars

Intially I was level with other guys that had a bell-tech 3/4 drop. If you ever see a 3/4 bell-tech drop you will notice the front of the truck is higher than the rear. So this means just with the 2" arms up front your will be equal to a 3" drop. I wanted a slight rake, so I added a 1" drop spring.

You would be best just to install the a-arms.
