Congratulations DALE!!!!!!!!!

this is getting interesting now:
Sal was the fastest for a while, then JLP posted a lower time, now DALE beat JLP's time.

I think in 2004 that title may change hands a few more times.

Well... Looks like the cat is out of the bag.

It is true, the run looked like this:

1.51 60'
6.60 @ 105mph 1/8
10.38 @ 128mph 1/4

Timeslip Scan Here

I also had a buddy video tape the run, the video is >HERE<

For those that asked, the temp was about 70degrees at the track and the truck does not have any extreme weight reduction. Just the usual stuff (spare, hitch, sway bars, etc...) Truck weighs ~4,600lbs

Another interesting note is that Im still running the stock transmission. (With a converter and shift-kit). Ive read reports of .1 or .2 gains just with a Monster Box because of the reduced clutch slippage....

And yes, as someone else posted, the motor did lose a headgasket at about 3/4 track. The truck just started to nose over and lose power, hence the low mph.. I was expecting ~130 - 131mph.. Not sure if it actually blew the gasket or if it just lifted a head since the truck runs perfectly, just under boost sprays coolant out the overflow...

Next time out this truck WILL run a 9.xx, Im too close to give up now

Ive gotta thank a few companies / people for all the help in getting my truck the way it is. Im not a tuner or anything, just took my time and got the combination that (I thought) would be the "right" combination. Without these people my truck would not have been able to run a number like that... a big THANK YOU to:

Works Power
Power Surge Performance, and
Dantes Modular Performance
DDM Performance

And..thanks to everyone for the props, Im sure someone will be coming to squash me, but Im going to enjoy it while I can

-Dale
