So where are you guys racing in Bakersfield? I'm in Bakersfield right now drinking beer and eating steak. Wish I knew you guys were going to the track. Could have brought my truck. Maybe next time.

Hi everyone, first time user here and i only found this site because of my buddy who has a lightning and a cobra. I was at Bakersfield earlier today and actually was 2 cars behind the lightning when it ran the 10.30et . From what i understand he wounded the motor when he did it. Apparently he lost a head gasket on that run, but i suppose it was worth it. For being a chevy guy and running a 65' chevelle i must say that i was shocked when i saw that beast tear down the track and do it "quietly" compared to everyone else who was uncorked in our lanes. That is one quick truck, kudos to him.
