Question YOUR ANSWER IN TWO WORDS YES & NO

To answer your question better yes you can do this but what about your air fuel ratio etc/ this is a big step up in mods why would you want to do this with out doing your other mods such as chip pulleys throttle body FTVB this being said the chip is what controls all of your mods without a chip and the other mods i really don't see the point just my .02 worth

Well, I guess I should've asked my question this way.

With a ported blower, will I need a chip and a dyno tune? My reasoning for not going with other mods yet, is being able to not let anyone see it. I want just enough power to work over a z06, and retain that "totally stock" look. With a chip, pulley, single blade, cai, etc. you kinda lose that "I am stock and still beat your car" look.

I know a few of you are gonna say "well, why would you want to look stock if you aren't", or "Why are you gonna claim to be stock and cheat to win" or something along those lines. Well, face it. The stock L won't take some of the big 3 badass cars. WS6, Z06, SS camaro, Cobra. I was hoping for something mild like porting the blower to give me 40 or so more horsies.

Can I safely run a ported eaton, at stock boost, with no mods save a filter and mild exhaust?

I'd call Brian (apten) and ask him about a ported blower on a bone stock lightning. I betcha the stock computer will compensate for the increased air flow.

adding a pulley requires a chip

i was told that there is enough timing in the truck already to handle a ported blower with no other mods. ie a chip. if thats true than go for it.

nobody is going to notice a chip or a ecu. So get the blower ported and then get it custom tuned.
