Is this SRT-10 B.S getting a little old. NLOC asks not to talk much about it.
I' am not trying to start a flame war here but, it seems like it is dragging on like a O.J Simpson trial. I would like to see this made sticky and take votes from forum members and see who is tired of it and who isn't.

You know:

"Let me go turn the bottle on and we'll race again"
"Oh yeah, well race me when it's colder out, and I'll beat you"
"At least mine looks better"
"Mine was cheaper anyhow, if I spent as much as you did on it, it'd beat you"

Those are the typical excuses given by any random import driver when racing, used against us for ages, now it comes full circle.

Friggggin NLOC wants to control what you say period and in fact they do! Talk about a dictatorship there.....

Oh, yea, the SRT-10 thing is getting old but my feeling is the
SRT-10 posts you see presently are relevant basically because of speed record talks, etc.. The talk will settle down in time.

 

I don't waste my time or gas on ricers. Takes a nice Supra or the like for me to race. So I don't hear those ricer excuses. Maybe that's what all the Gen 1's race

what about making a seperate new "AREA" so that srt-10 threads can go there.
OR
make a rule that all srt related threads go in a specific area "general discussion? street scene? etc...

Yeah, I'm just sitting here reading thread after thread of excuses on here and other L boards....You must have us mixed up with the dodge boys...

Re-boot you computer and immediately go to a Lightning board and this will correct your problem. It must have been going to a dudge board first....

 

The threads all say SRT in them, so don't read them.. Some people have too much time on their hands..

 

I havent followed Brian's recent posts. But regardless of his "theme", he is right.

When Dodge first announced they were going for the record, everyone on this forum was like "no way in hell" "flying brick" yada yada yada. Now that Dodge has completed the task, there has been nothing but excuses flying around here. I need to put on my swamp boots just to log into this site now a days.

Lets take the V8 from the Ford GT, and pop it into the Gen III Lightning. Then, we can rocket ship around the track to re-gain the Worlds fastest truck title for the blue oval. If the GT is the pace car for the company, then let the GEN III Lightning be the pace truck for the company. I also think you should be the one to drive the truck to the record. Talk about SVT enthusiasm. Lets fight fire with fire. They have a 500 HP engine and so do we. Lets see whose is better.
