OH DAMN this virus program. Oh well it works now.

Anyways...

Odin, board huh?? No prob, I just though it would be nice in high res, or if anybody wanted one for wallpaper or something.

Now, I thought the Line Mod Valve was the whole FTVB. But now I guess not.

Oh man, if I send the chip and line mod valve back, justin would prolly be pissed. I wonder if he would put the credit towards LT and mid pipes w/ high flow cats?

Bigman,

Pics look great.

Also to ease your mind. I have one of those "Line valve mods" for 2 years now and 25,000 miles with 600 rwhp and 10 second passes along with a ton of 1/4 mile passes and long drives(500 miles or more) and have not had one tranny problem. So you have nothing to worry about.
These are real world results.

Also you cannot get a JDM tune on a Predator. So I will stick with my "old antiquated" chip for now.

Billarf , not flamming ya, just throwing out info that I didnot see covered in this thread.

VINNIE, I mite be wrong, but with that kind of power, you have to have a built tranny. I don't see a stock tranny holding up to that kind of power let alone tons of 10 second passes. So I don't think you count. Of course, correct me if Im wrong.

BTW, you da man.

Stock Tranny is holding up just fine to 600 rwhp and 1/4 passes. When it goes then I will replace it but for now the shifts are tight and it runs fine. I do have a torque converter and deep tranny pan and have replaced the fluid 3 times already, but it is still a stock tranny.

No, I hear ya Vinnie.. I know you are not flamming me! IN ALL HONESTY though, I could not recommend to or encourage anyone with a new L that they chip a NEW under warranty truck when they can now go Predator. Keeping a warranty or at least trying to is worth more then any tuner period. YES, if you already have a chip then indeed it makes less sense to go Predator but even then..

Too many people are worried about thier warrenties IMO.

Personally I put ZERO faith in Ford as far as warrenties go. Mines modded and *chipped*. Proud of it too!

I just got my 4#'r with Predator tune from JLP. My L runs like a rapped ape. I couldn't be happier. I have a DSG like you "big man". I went with Denso IT22's and the truck runs perfect and no pinging. I have a FTVB, and the shifts are great. The funny thing was, it shifted better after the pulley and Predator program install. The Line mod valve works, the FTVB is just the safest way to go. IMO

Curious.... do you remember this thread.... https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=143141

Did you have JLP incorporate this in your custom tune. Again, the
3-4 upshift not occuring until 55mph is absolutely terrific!

Well, if I don't take the chip and the line mod valve out of the box, I could still send them back couldn't I???

BTW, smaller version of those pics are now in my gallery.

People canceling orders and returning items is not unusual. You should not feel guilty for doing so. Indeed, you can just not open the box and send it back. Call the vendor and just tell them you have opted not to "chip" the truck or go with the line mod valve. Tell them you will order from them in the future, just not the chip and line mod valve. I would not go into further detail with them as that is not necessary. By the way, even if you opened the box you could do this. The vendor has to take the item back and undoubtedly will without problem.
