thanks, john
It's a stock Harley upper grill. I have a matching lower that I have not installed yet. Someone photoshopped my currect picture with a matching lower; it's close to what it will look like.

If your talking about the metco idler set up....it helped me. Before I put the set up on, I would get piles of dust from my gatorback. After it....very little to no belt dust.

I have seen people post about using smaller belts to "tighten it up", but I never liked the idea of putting that much downward pressure on my blower snout.

Check for the belt dust before you spend the dough. If your getting slipping, you will have the dust piled up just under the upper pulley, on top of the idler pulley bracket.

Rocks

If I am not mistaken. JLP has some of the biggest got darned pulley's out there...LOL. Seriously...his tend to be bigger or at least rated closer to the lb they are called than the Metco...which is what I have. You definnitly should be seeing more than 12 lbs of boost with his pulley.

I have a 4# lower and 2.8 upper.
In the summer heat I still got a solid 13# to 13 1\2#.

Now in this cold I get a solid 14#+

IMHO 12# is to low. You should be seeing a solid 13#-14# easy.
