I don't think it would work well with a stock system. Maybe get a turbo or centrifugal with an air to air intercooler and it would probably work well.

It's a waste of money with our air to water intercooler.

Don't know where they usually mount the tank, but if it's a good distance from the outlet, the gas is going to warm up significantly before it hits the heat exchanger. You'll also need to anticipate the need for the "hit" a few seconds before you get any good effect because the lines will take some time to cool off.

I'd say you are better off with a regular water sprayer(I think the EVO even comes with one). The evaporative cooling effect provided by water is very effective.

Looks like the "Super Cooler" that was on the next gen L prototype. I wonder what the cost of the ICee chiller is... The site doesn't say.

yeah, somebody should forward that link to O.J. Colletti, I heard that he owns the patent on that setup or something.

thanks again folks - we are going to look into the intercooler spray (the WRX-STI has one too) as an option.

the ICEE thing looks like the prototype gen3 thing coletti showed. this looks more of the appropriate thing for air to water.

thanks again,
Dave
