went down to gainsville raceways yesterday, met some other lightning guys there too...i was a little dissapointed in my run though...i just got my truck tuned, and my best ruyn of the day looke like this...

reaction: .207
60ft: 1.870
330ft: 5.302
ET @594 FT: 7.630
1/8 ET: 8.158
1/8 MPH: 85.21
1/4 ET: 12.80
1/4 MPH: 105.7

i really though i might atleast break into the 7's in the 1/8 and maybe cut a 12.60 or so..launch was good at aroudn 1500...do you think my times was about right for what mods i have?

kenne bell 15psi
single blade T/B
staight pipes
170 thermo
NGk br7's
12'' filter w/ 90mm mass air

wow with a KB at 15 psi you should be much faster then that.. not even your MPH are refelecting the KB??

I have 6# pulley, chip, Intake and run 12.6@107mph on my slicks and 12.8@106 mph on my F1's.

What is your elevation and how was the weather?

It was good meeting you man. I guess you never did get a second run in then did you? Congrats on the 12 second time as you were a lot faster than myself. I might come back to Gainesville this coming saturday as well...to get some more practice. Hopefully it won't be quite as busy and "oily".

First,id like to welcom you to the 12 sec club. But i really think that you still have some power hidden in there.Your times seem a little low as does your trap speed.Do you have headers or any kind of exaust?I mean 15 lbs would seem to be a little too much without the exhaust and headers and youll probably pick up some power and torque which would help your times.Maybe you should talk to you tunerthough and get a dyno tune or something like that. But hey still have to be happy with 12s and you could only go faster.

CONGRATS LEO AND WELCOME TO THE

I'd agree that there is A TON MORE in it.
You all know what I'm gonna say right HEHEHEHE
YOU NEED MORE TIMING
Ask you tuner what timing you have and I bet it's all the way back to stock timing or 2 degrees or so advanced.

CONGRATS BRO, but rest assure your leaving AT LEAST 1 full second of ET on the table. You got a beast in the making there.

For comparison purposes, I run 12.7's with a filter chip n 4 lb pulley on a stock Eaton, stock tranny, stock suspension, stock exhuast, and no electric fans, cobra pump, cooling mods, etc....
Even got me a 12.8 on F-1's, hit the switch and it's an 11.8 with 75 HP of Juice. You should be in the 11's with a KB, especially with that kind of boost. That MORE than makes up for 75HP of Nitrous. Get a re-burn on the chip, AND YOU WILL BE

Thumbs up 12 SECOND CLUB!!!!

Try another day. Maybe 60 degrees or less.
Cool the motor. Ice the intake.
Give it another shot. Your times will improve.

Huh....

Perfect example of how to spend several thousand dollars with minimal results.
