You da man Mark. Thanks for the info. $30800 is with the 1k rebate but we're getting closer.
I could live with black. It might even look like dsg when dirty. Hate to talk like that but daily driven, no garage, it will get dirty.

Yes I agree, I am responsible for my driving. I made the choice to go into work. They made the choice of not calling to say they did not need me knowing what the forcast was. A couple of months ago the maintenance crew was gathered for a meeting where they told us how important it was to respond to emergency calls when related to this particular job/customer. No big deal. I'm sure the money will come out of my pocket. I just thought I had a pretty good argument and it was worth a shot.
It's always easier if you have someone else to blame. Maybe I'll go after the road crew.

All kidding aside, sorry to hear about your L, but I think you're going to be the one paying the bill. If you get a body shop to work with you and you have connections at a Ford dealer, maybe they will let you purchase the parts at wholesale and deduct it from your total bill. Insurance companies will pay you retail for the cost of parts on the estimate and it's a good way to reduce or eliminate your deductible. Good luck and I hope it comes out okay for you.
