Wow! That is about the best apology I've ever seen a company post online. It also is a great testament to Apten, and to Brian's character. I know one company I'll be looking to do business with when my warranty expires.

I agree,

Even though they already had my buisness, I won't hesitate to send them more. Everyone I see will hear about my results, and the Great Customer Service that you get.

It is my own opinion after reviewing all of this that we (Apten) were in the wrong on posting in this thread and in how the transaction went with the customer. I took personal offense to some of the pictures and things being said in the beginning of this thread, but what I didn't realize was that the customer was upset and had a right to be. If I put myself in his shoes I may have reacted differently, but I would not be happy either. Regardless of excuses we could make, it took us too long to get him a ported core, and when we finally sent the core it was the wrong year. That is not acceptable, and by all means will not happen again, ever.

Several mistakes were made by Apten thru this whole experience, and the best we can do going forward is to learn from those mistakes and put processes in place to improve our core selection process and service. It is our business to make sure that every customer walks away satisfied, and my biggest regret is that it didn't happen this time.

Brian
Yes Brian did call me today; to say the least I was kindof suprised to findout who was calling me. My first thought was he(Brian) would be mad(pissed off) at me over this whole deal, but he was not. We were able to talk about things over the phone, and realize were each of us made mistakes that lead to this tension. Through this I know that I have learned a lot about Eaton superchargers, and hope that I can answer any questions that a member might have if they are working on one. I also beleive that Brian(Apten) has learned more through this to help him provided better service for anyone planning on getting there Eaton ported. I beleive Apten had there program where you send them in your own blower working pretty good; everyone seemed to be happy there. They just had some problems that could arrise when you chose to do a core exchange; from what I have been told Brian is working to keep these problems from happening in the future. I know that no matter what in retail you will always have something go wrong at sometime; I guess it hapened to me this time through this company.

Alright; everybody get back to arguing about which color truck is fastest

Brian

I picked mine up at the shop today. The place where I used to work that I asked you to ship to
Anyway, your work looks flawless and you picking up the extra cost for next day shipping was above and beyond what was called for. From my point of view, your company goes the extra mile for customer satisfaction

Thank you

btw........You didn't like my steel frame I sent the blower on? Was curious to see, if you would use it on the return trip But your packing was much better!
