Nope........

I am not aware of any manufacturer that quotes dyno hp for production vehicles.

the bigger question is why would anyone buy a truck that has no tow rating? The overall truck design seems to be solid, but this is just plain stupid. If it is just a "go fast" vehicle, it is a total waste. It doesn't take much to get into the low 13s or even high 12s with a decent sports car.... and you would have money left over to buy a used "work" truck to tow it and/or do other "truck related" duties.

Excactly!
I haven't towed anything and I've had a truck since 1996.
But they sure come in handy for a few 4X8 sheets of plywood, or some landscaping..

All other mags tested it in the high 13's other then one and noe MT.

What that tells me is this truck is capable of low low 13's at a good MPH with the right driver. The only thing I don't get is the MPH are very low in the other Mags so this does not reflect any room for improvement. Ahh well. I think they should be low 12's. That way they will be even more surprised when I run them

why are we arguing about a dodge?

I hope it is faster than the L, it cost a bunch more, it should be faster!

Towing with the SRT-10 is like going grocery shopping in the Viper, not alot of room for anything!

C'mon guys, face it, the SRT-10 is going to be faster than the Lightning, until the Gen 3 comes out.
But with all the modified L's out there, I think it will be a good race

factory horsepower ratings are not always accurate. based on dyno testing that i've seen posted, i would say the L is putting out 400 to 420 crank horsepower.

MT got good numbers out of it, WAY better than advertized by Dodge's own literature (thanks easterisland for posting it). Having been involved with this kind of testing let me tell you, the magazine editors are brutal brutal brutal, and they have as many times as they want to get it right. Plus, this is a vehicle that had been prepped for the magazine. Yes, they do prep them and prep them well. For example, Mercedes has a completely separate department for prepping press cars. They will use different settings and adjustments for different vehicles depending on where the journalists will be driving them(twisties, autobahn, city, etc.).

My point? We'll have to wait until people buy these things and take them to the strip to know exactly what they will do.

Not exactly.........

Most bone stock 01-04 L's dyno around 350rwhp. Add 11-12% and you have 380hp.
