How about any one of the hundreds of Lightnings that are stock other than a so called 4# pulley? Plenty of data there don't you think?

Cool

HI!... I believe he is talking about the SUPERCHIPS *tuner* (SCT). It uses a 4 bank chip. MIKE TROYER has had this equipment for some time now. Mike did the tuning on my truck with this new technology. Actually I belive KDANNER was the one that argued about this new product with MIKE T in another thread. It's funny how MIKE ended up with one of the 1ST new SCT's.

Isnt 499 torque really low for your hp gains? Ive seen people with approx 400 hp and 500 torque with similar mods. But u have 423 hp, id expect well over 500 tq with that much hp. Anybody got any input on this?

I believe that the blower porting usually results in large net HP gains but not as great of a gain in torque.

No, it isn't low. I use a dyno properly, the trans is locked in 3rd gear, and the converter is locked before the pull actually starts, hence you can see it starts at only 1700RPM. The ones that don't are running it up fast enough to where it won't downshift before starting, so the open converter will give you some bogus torque until it locks, you'll see plenty of these sheets that start at 3000 RPM or more. Someone will argue this, fine whatever, go ahead and think that way.

Do you have any BEFORE numbers so we can get an idea of how much HP you picked up?

Your after numbers don't mean squat without before numbers on "your" truck. Every truck is different.

I gained 20 tq when i went to the apten. Put up 435 rwhp \ 540 tq. I agree and think his tq is low.

You can do a search i had a thread before with a link to my before and after dyno chart. Mods are in sig
