Started off 2003 with leg surgery.
It was cold Lightning sat under snow.
Bought a Bronco to drive everyday.
Was going to trade in the Lightning and get an 03'
Then the Cobra spiked my interest, just not enough to get rid of the Lightning for.
Said screw it and bought an 03' Cobra anyways.
Sold my investment property = $$$$$
Made the Cobra fast.
Was talking to Justin @ JDM one day(just shootin' the *****), said "hey send me a KB" out of nowhere and he did just that.
Got the KB the next day and put it on that night.
Truck was fast.
Sent truck to JDM for some tuning.
Truck was FASTER!
Broke the rod in my leg.
Third leg operation.
Lightning and Cobra sat and sat.
Got back in the loop and got a new program for the Lightning.
Woah.
Went to the track and ran an 11.61, first pass out since KB.
11.53 the next day on its only pass.
Ordered Bogarts from Outrageous Performance.
11-08-03 A new record is set.
11.37 @ 118.82!!!!
Still smiling from ear to ear.
Leg is just about all healed(finally after 15 months).
Trying to save up to do a motor.
Looking to relocate down South.
Had some bad times but it was a good year and went by EXTREMELY fast.
Have a happy and healthy New Year everyone. Go out and get some new bests.
