You know -- you're right. I just tried it with the neighbor's car:

Has anyone ever deleted the side pipes and just run turn downs? I wish someone made a side skirt replacement without the cutout for the exhaust. My tips dont line up perfectly with the side skirt

I think I might go deaf if there were pipes exiting on my side of the truck too.

Two of the racers I know (RUSlow and HighRisk) had exhaust going out both sides, they relocated the gas tanks to cells in the bed or under the rear center of the truck.

There was a vendor who I can't track down who sold a long-tube header setup that went over the gas tank (with heat-shield wrapped piping) to create a driver side exit exhaust without relocating the gas tank.
