Why does it stumble?
Why does it stumble?
Was out early yesterday morning for a run. With temps in the upper 50's the truck has alot more jump but with a problem. Sometimes on a WOT 1-2 shift it stumbles for a half sec or so then goes. I was wondering if by some chance I am hitting the rev limiter?
It's not the blow off, that I know and you can hear it and when I looked at the tach it is a full needle width or better in the redline. I was surpised how diff the temps affect the truck. New sticky pavement results in twenty feet of rubber. I guess lower temps and cooler rubber don't make for ideal traction. Any thoughts on the stumble?

Sounds like the dredded torque reduction between shifts....The computer actually stops firing 4 of the cylinders for that split second between the shifts to help protect the tranny....Most chip tuners will turn that off for you unless you request that they don't
