It's a Must

Here's your two choices
Either just unplug it,

Or do by re-routing the Vac (thats how I did mine)

All you need is a small Vac tee

Simply unplug the pink line from it's original spot.
Then put a little screw in the place it WAS plug into.
Then locate the other line, AND THE FACTORY SPLICE,
Simply relace splice with a Tee, and put the Pink line there.

ALL DONE

Question: Why didn't ford want the lightning to go past 8lb's? is it really safe to have that much boost?

The Eaton's are most efficient up to 8psi (many on this board will disagree with this). Adding more boost will make more power, but the heat efficiency declines as boost increases.

BTW, the boost bypass has no effect on total boost. It just prevents dumping boost during shifts. That's it.

I've had mine unplugged for months now. What exactly did I do by unplugging the boost bypass? Someone said I dont dump boost between shifts, is that all? Why does it come like it does, and how can we get away with bypassing the bypass?
