Definately not a race vehicle, but i think they look real nice except the rear bumper, that thing is ugly, i think the rest is nice. Realize that most people that are lightning owners are racing enthusiests, most people really arent.

 

I just saw one of them at the All Truck Nationals here in KC. I had seen many pics of these trucks but never one first hand. I must say they are kinda gaudy up close! but to each his own!
I think the guys name was Randy and he had many questions about f150's and Lightnings. As far as I know there where only 75
of them made from someplace in L.A. Though they are gaudy to me they are unique! and If I where a collector I would have to have one!

I believe that there are more than 75 made, because I saw 8 of them in one day. They were all at different Ford dealers here in town.
I think that they have the stock (regular 5.4) in them. When I bought my '03 the dealer had one in the showroom with the hood up, I saw nothing that looked any different than the other F-150's that I have owned.
I was not that impessed, of course there was 4 Saleen Mustangs, 2 '03 Cobras and an L all within 20 ft of the Boss.
As for the interior it looked kinda Ricey to me. There was a lot of yellow/black zebra striped trim, not my personal favorite. Compared to the L that was parked next to it, the Boss was sorta gaudy.
I don't mean to flame anyone just my $.02
