Why did you buy an L for $30,000+ when you could have bought a run of the mill F150 for thousands of $ less? Why do you you do anything at that matter. Cause ya want to. Individualizing a limited build truck, a decal of an emblem with build info, etc. on ones truck is a great add on for that truck IF you look at that truck as more then just a friggin truck.

I am in the process of contacting a fellow that has a CNC machine and could do such a frame as yours. Anyone else interested in a similar frame let me know..
How do I contact whomever to get a similar item made for myself and possibly others here by BuiltFordFast?

I would like both a billet dash plaque and an engine compartment plaque...at a REASONABLE cost.

Airbox emblem frame with build info..

For those interested in a billet frame like Flying **** showed in pics above shoot me an email. IF there is enoght interest I have a small business owner (Great owner) that would probably do the billet frame at a decent price. His work is terrific. I am awaiting a call from him now. BY THE WAY, I took my stock airbox and applied heat with a heat gun (could have used a hair dryer) and that red label as shown in Flying ****'s pic above lifts right off without damage to it or airbox. Use a little heat on the underside of the airbox lid NOT on the label itself. I slipped a single edge razor blade under it and it came right off. real nice emblem..... never even thought of pulling it off... THANKS, Flying **** for you post here in regard to the emblem.

Hey!! Those look familiar.
Unfortunately, I don't make them anymore and I do apologize to all those who have inquired about them in the past for not being able to come through for you.
But it looks like Billarf might be able to pick up where I left off.
And to Billarf, if your buddy decides to go ahead with these, I still have the 3d surface data for it and could send you the data, if you'd like. All he would have to do is generate some cutterpaths over the data.
That way you don't have to measure and create data again if you go the CNC route.

And to Flying **** : Do I owe you money now for the sales pitch?

Anyway, hope your able to do it, as I always thought it was a pretty good idea.(Boy oh boy,now thats one bias opinion.)

I corresponded with Mark "NozeBleedSpeed" today, and he is going to contact the people that did that sticker last year and see if they can do it again for us '03 L owners. They will run over $35 IF he can get them made for us. I will have more info on this and the billet by Monday.
