Any more info on the sticker? I'd be interested in getting one.. Thanks.

Shroud decal - not worth the $

Well, I received the shroud decals today. Can tell you they are decent but I kick myself in the butt for paying $40+ for them. Talk about to many $ for something. They look ok but no way worth the money! My personal opinion = Suggest you pass them by!

I don't know either manufacturer BUT -

Just curious - Assuming the decals was decent quality and had blemishes, or defects, and it looked like the sample. What would that be worth?

Because they have the build numbers on them they are essentially hand made one at a time. Figure $10 for materials and at least half and hour to do all the paperwork, and "make" the decal and ship it. $40 seems fair for that level of work.

Not saying I'm interested in that for my truck but for a show truck it seems like a fair price

Well, the decals did in fact have some defects and to be honest the build info like built for , date, etc. is extremely hard to read as much of the lettering is silver and tbe background is silver in places. Makes for hard to read... this was not readily apparent in the pics sent by the manufacturer as the sample pics sent by the manufacturer showed a different color letters that were easy to read but a color that I would not want. Anyway, I purchased a very nice piece of billet aluminum with all the build info for $40.00 and it is a waaaaaay better item for the $ compared to the decal that is not easily read nor at all as durable. They both have custom info on them... I am not in the decal business but I would say the decals are overpriced. As for shipping they came in a regular small manilla envelope with under $1.00 postage. Nothing special for nothing special. My opinion and will be curious what others think.

I guess compared to the same info on billet aluminum in the same size then by comparison $40 is over priced. Especially if it is hard to read and has flaws. For $40 a decal should be perfect
