? for Vinnie

Vinnie, I am gonna go to terry's in a couple of weeks for my shaker hood. What color did you paint the scoop. Is it flat black or like a gloss black? Thanks, Jeff

You Lucky dog,

You get to hang out with one of the best there is. Tell him I said Hi and that he was right. If I got a penny for every compliment on my Shaker I would be a rich man.

I got Gloss black , but I got to tell ya the flat black is nice too. After doing a lot of shows lately and seeing all the real Shakers painted flat black I have gotten to like it.

The cool thing is you can do any color you want. SVT02 scoop is Silver and lightning Bobs has the ribs painted Silver. so you have a lot of options.

Good Luck.

VINNIE

Ron,

That came out awesome. I like how you have the scoop real high out the hood. It doesn't move as much , but it looks better IMO.

Thanks Vinnie. Yes, It doesn't shake much except under hard acceleration. I'm ok with that.
As long as it functional & looks good who cares about the shake.

Just Curious. Are you using the Airaid kit to make your hood
more functional?

That looks nice Ron. I like how high the scoop sits. Can you see it shake from the drivers seat when your rippin on her? Thanks, Jeff

Yup, But I prefer to keep my eyes on the road when the hammer
is down. Things happen fast when the hammer goes down.

Tomorrow I'm picking up My new 03 full light assy.
Heads, corners, tails, third brake and fogs!
That should wake-up the appearance.

Ron,
The 03 Fogs will not work with the 00 bumper cover.

I was told by someone who has done this on their 99 L.
You are to use the same fog light holder. New lense and
light assy is compatable w/ old housing.
NathanSVT is the fella who has done it to his.
