Eaton will benefit from the 112, no doubt.....but you cant compare that to a KB , its a roots vs a screw compressor.....the right way of doing it is with the 140....Mondo1 had a 112, and is just trying to clarify things based on first party experience.....

Thanks for the backup, Mr. Gadget. But thats cool. I don't have to explain anything to this guy.I've been watching his posts for a while now and its obvious he's just a young guy that needs to learn a great deal about mechanics and how to conduct himself. Truth be told, you know I've been turning wrenches when he was in diapers. But thats o.k. I find him amusing and will not play his cute little game of who has the toughest keyboard. So my advise is to do what I'm about to do. Sit back, wait for his next humorous remark, and after that...don't feed the troll! Have a nice day.

promod thanks for all of YOUR help. i dont see why everyone else cant be as helpfull as you.
As I have owned a works 112 and KB, I must second that opinion. Don't get me wrong the Works112 was a good alternative to the factory eaton,BUT it is not even in the same league as the twin screws. Using the same set up on my truck the difference was 78hp and 116lbs of TQ. The only time the Works112 ever produced more power was between 3100-3400 rpm and that was like 1-2 hp and 7-9lbs of TQ. I also believe at such a low RPM the way I rolled on the the power could have made the difference. One more thing, those were corrected numbers and both at 17 PSI...

Eatoncharged, I have the first Works 140 ever made and know the owner of Works very well.
Having said that, you are clueless. You need to listen more and talk less.

You are out'a you are out of your mind. Either twin screw will out perform the roots anywhere. But haven't we been over this about 1000 times now. Just buy one of them, any of them. Please put me out of my misery.
your so full of **** its not even funny. you sit here denying the information you told me just because you know youd get ridiculed by everyone else who disagrees. steve or whatever the hell your name is, grow a pair and when i ask for your information (why would i do that when i can get useless info from everyone else) then you can chime in.

Geez, I'm in the market for a new fangled blower 'cause I'm a little bored running measley 11.80's with my stock Eaton and no juice. But with all this controversy over which aftermarket blower is better, I can't decide on which one to bolt onto my 2000 L. I think I'll just stick with the stock blower and shoot a little "spray" into my sleigh, John H.
