I laugh at him and drive away before he can say anymore. So he turns around and starts following me going out of his way to do so(remember he did have his left turn signal on before) but there is a car in between us, I drive slow but the car behind me is even slower so he is weaving into the other lane to look ahead at me. Then we pass another officer who starts follow this guy. Now I am thinking WTF>??? Let me tell you this guy has always been a ***** to myself and anyone else that is young. He has pulled over plenty of my friends and towed their vehicles away for things such as no front plate, expired insurance card(it was expired by 2 days) just plain old stupid crap.
I have read this from the beginning, but never posted anything on it since I don't normally post in this forum. With that first line, that tells me that you could care less about the law and the people that enforce them, like they are just a joke and they are all out just to get you. It is things like you done that probably makes that police officer and others want to come after you and your friends. And I don't blame him. Even though he did not officially have you pulled over, after you laughed at him and drove away, he would have had every right to come and arrest you. He could have charged you with evading a police officer and If he was really after you, he would have gotten your precious L towed and put you into jail.

As for the front liscense plates, some states require them and some states don't(mine don't). Deal with it. And the insurance is required to keep your liscense. That is not stupid crap. Again deal with it.

Actually in some (if not most/all) states and countries (e.g. Germany) it is illegal to drive with you fog lights on UNLESS there is a reduction in visibility (rain, FOG, etc.). In the states they will usually ignore it unless, the lights are out of adjustment or have after market bulb in them (or if the cop is looking for a reason to pull you over).

Low and behold there is a cop on the other side of the intersection with his blinker on to make a left hand turn. He flashes his high beams at me. I think to myself WTF I did nothing wrong. He then drives thru the red light(no lights on or anything) shines his spotlight right in my face and tell me to turn off my "driving lights they are just as bright as high beams and are illegal." I tell him they are factory stock on the truck how could they possibly be illegal>??? He says "turn them off or I will give you a $78 ticket. I laugh at him and drive away before he can say anymore. So he turns around and starts following me going out of his way to do so(remember he did have his left turn signal on before) but there is a car in between us, I drive slow but the car behind me is even slower so he is weaving into the other lane to look ahead at me. He has pulled over plenty of my friends and towed their vehicles away for things such as no front plate, expired insurance card(it was expired by 2 days) just plain old stupid crap. So me not wanting to get my truck towed away in case I didn't have something with I pulled into the local Wendy's parking lot(I don't think they can tow you from a private lot) and they keep driving by and I wave and smile at him. Why are some cops on such a power trip>??? Is he jealous of me. Maybe I should tell him I pay for my own ***** so go bother someone else. I mean I have no problems with law enforcement but come on. This guy has told one of my friends he is "gonna get me one day" because I drive on a dealer plate. I am part owner of our family business so I get that privledge. I can't report him or anything because he is one of the head "supervisors." Our Lights aren't really illegal are they>??? Just about every new car has fog lights and all of them drive with them on. WTF. Some may say this guy may be the one saving my butt one day, but to be honest with you I would rather die in a burning house then have this ***** save me. Sorry for the long rant I just am sick and tired of this ball buster. -Mat-

Mat-
I had a 2000 HD when i lived in NY and was pulled over by a state trooper there who told me the same thing. He also told me that my STOCK privacy tint was too dark and that i would have to remove it.....remove what, i told him, the freaking windows.....power trip is right......oohhhhh and i did get a ticket for the lights... :o

I have to say something here. For one, respect works both ways. The cop deserves no respect if he doesn't give it and vice versa. And two, the cop also should pick and chose their battles also. This cop had a power trip and showed no respect to begin with so why give him any in return. I am 36 and I don't back down to any officer if he is going to be an a$$ and I will be the same way when I am 56.

Cops can go get Fu*cked

Like RTKilla said, they don't like young succusful people with hot fast trucks. I think the cop thinks we are going to steal there wives .
All the SOBS have done for me is harass me. I have tried the yes officer thing and the last time I did that the stupid fu*ck said "don' t patronize me" Fine I went ****hole eversince.

I had a cousin get mad at the Cops one time and like me is revengeful. This was my idea, He crawled under there prowler with a fresh new roll of chicken wire and tied the loose ends to the U-joints on the drive shaft. I guess he called in a bad accident on the highway and when the cop got in the prowler, took off, it wasn' t long after the drive shaft went west Fast.

Did he get caught? I' am told no but my brother who was just as drunk was there for it all said it was quite a show and it made the local paper.

Hmmm, Bluelightning is a Scotchman to. You two do seem to have a lot in common.

That's quit a story you told about your cousin crawling under a cop car. I think I saw that on American Graffiti.

Does crazy off the wall sh*it but never new his family has a scottish decent. I thought with what he does he would qualify as drunk 24 hrs and be a Cree blood Indian. Bluelightning could probily drink all of us under the table the bastage can drink he was at our company Christmas party and made a real *** of him self but he has pissed man.

That guy is so crazey he should be sterialized, I would hate to see what he could reproduce.
