You are flowing a lot more air than me probably. If you look at the video I posted last week I can barely get 20 psi right before the shift with the 6lb lower and 3" upper. That means there is 4psi backup in my system somewhere. I have long tubes, no cats, ported heads, oversize valves, ported intake, ported lower intake. It could also have something to do with the weather or altitude maybe. I have also noticed I get more boost with a tighter belt. I am using the stock belt with the 6lb lower and 3" upper. When I was using the 68" belt I could only get 18psi max.

Yeah, I got the stage 3 cams, race ported heads oversized valves, longtubes, high flow cats, hogged out upper plenum and a Reichard Racing upper pulley etc.....Its funny cause KBs 22.5# kit is only giving me 17#to 18#....I figure I losing around 4 to 5#s with the mods......

Anything you do in terms of flow before the blower(ie:CAI, S/B T-Body, Ported Upper Plenum etc...) is going to increase the boost, because its getting more air into the motor. After the blower, Cams, Ported Heads, Long Tubes etc.. are going to decrease the boost at a given engine speed, due to their enabling the motor to more efficiently get the air OUT. Boost is a measurement of pressure. So mods that enable a motor to move air more efficiently are simultaneously reducing the pressure in the system....or something like that

Hope that makes sense!

Rob
