aftermarket antenna

can anyone tell me where i can get a shorter antenna? im tired of the 9' one.

they have black, stainless and a stainless with etched flames....

You can also get cheap "inexpensive" ones at Pep Boys or some other auto parts supplier.

what did you have to do to install it? was it just a screw it on affair? how is the radio reception afterwards? just as good? What color rings did you go with?

I got mine from Godfather Customs. Came to like $44 shipped and with the Ford Adapter.

I tried to do the chrome bolt cover thingy like Vinnie but i got horrible reception. Also, the cap started to rust within 2 days.

My radio reception sucks as is since i have the Clarion sub. So, i removed the bolt and my reception hasnt improved or decreased. Its still crappy

How is it that a sub could mess with your reception? I had 2 1,000 watt 12"s @ 2 ohms behind my seats with no problems.

it had to do with the wiring harness for the sub, it created interference or something like that, bad grounds maybe
