Good to hear that you got your money back! But... If he comes back and wants to race again, and maybe for a little more money this time, I think I would pass. He might be trying to sucker you in for a big pay out at a later race. Just my $.02

Roger

two: won't slicks on street not hook up as well since street isn't smooth;gravel holes ect..?
Still want some input, thanks again

thank you. I was just amazed sence he had a gear, slicks, and a stall, I figured he'd walk me like an awd car outa the hole. But I got him so bad outa the hole, (he had the hit to) he couldnt catch up. Im suprised he didnt catch up in 3rd. Or are their 3rds as poor as ours? (the 4:10 could behurting him to when on the street) thanks again, Shane

both times we raced, I had the jack and the oppoisite tire I was using in the bed. when I lost I was on street tires, with the slicks and jack in the bed like you said. When I won, I was on slicks, and had street tires and jack in the bed during the race.
to answer your 2nd question I hooked up like I've never hooked up b4 on the street (with the slicks) that was my first time really using them on the street. I have just had some bad luck with racing on stock f1's so rule is If I am racing on the street, race with the slicks. Thanks, Shane

Nice kill.

I bet he caught up a little in 2nd from his gears and torque converter. Those don't help much once you are outta the hole and running.

yeah he did catch up a bit, but it was nothing like when we raced the first time. He seamed to pull real hard in 2nd and 3rd when we raced the first time.
