Depends if you are going to run a built bottom end or not. It's more power at the same boost levels.

Ofcourse you can boost more on the stock Eaton and get more power. Wasn't it JDM that said 10's possible on the stock Eaton?

I got a question ?
I love the KB and see "ALL" are totally happy with the performance improvemenets it gives.
However it does seem there is a little trial and error in tunning a chip for it. I understand that, and also understand thats expected,
(expecially since no two L's EVER seem to work identical or respond the same to the identical tune)

My question is,
Is anyone running a KB on a STOCK CHIPLESS L ???
And if you are, any Dyno #'s, A/F's, or ET's ????

If I had to do it over, I would have simply bought a KB from day one and not done many of the other Mod's I did. But of course KB's weren't available then, so that didn't happen

I was running my KB on my stock block Lightning without a chip for about 3 weeks. But I never got around to putting it on the dyno.
For a small comparision.....I was running 12.9 in cool weather(12 lbs Eaton - no chip), but the last few times at the track in the heat I was running 13.3 (12 lbs Eaton - no chip).
Put a 75 shot of ZEX on and ran 12.75 @ 107 ( 12 lbs Eaton -no chip).
Removed the Zex and installed KB 16 lbs(no chip - still 90 degree weather) and ran 12.82 @ 107.

Just got REFLASHED this week...going back to the track tomorrow!!

Thanks Eric, good comparison, Your Beast is gonna scream in the cool weather

Hard to compare with large temp difference I know, if there's one thing I learned it's don't bother making passes in the summer.
I'm waiting for cooler weather before I go for the 11's again.
But I see in your case, the KB took a good 1/2 sec off even in 90 degree heat, and with no chip
NOW THAT MY FRIEND IS EXTREMLY IMPRESSIVE

Go to the www.stillen.com website.

They have the Kenne Bells for $2800.00

I bought 2 from them and both times comped the freight.

Maybe I'm a good customer, maybe not...but thats $200.00 cheaper than what everybodyelse has told you.

Mustangbadboy,

I looked on Stillen's website and was unable to locate the reference to them selling KB's for our Lightnings. Please advise!

Appreciatively,
