Please tell me you guys are kidding, and that the plugs are gapped correctly from the factory. Why would the website state the gap if that is not what they come in the box set at?

I didn't even to check mine before I installed them, but then again, you wouldn't think you'd have to check the gap on a $10 plug. The website stated 0.44 gap, which is what I understood was the best gap for this application.

I'm only running a 4# with a fairly conservative tune. I haven't gotten any detonation at all, and really don't want to spend another 3 hours pulling the plugs back out and gapping them.

DUDE!

Hate to break your bubble, but they are MOST DEFINITELY NOT factory gapped!

I'm trying to figure out how anyone would spend 4 hours and 5 pounds of knucke meat to change freaking spark plugs and not go through the simple formality of at least CHECKING the gap.

Trust nobody, my friend. Ever. For any reason.

Yup!

Cool! Don't know what to root for now - I suppose I'm hoping you find the gaps all screwed up. Mine sure were out of the box, and everyone I've spoken to about this, too.

I have found that many people are breaking the tips off the plugs while gapping. This is the reason we started our gapping service. For $5 (if you purchase the plugs from us) we will gap a set of plugs for you.

Sorry to hear about the electrode problem. They are very fragile. That is why I started the gapping service. As far as price for 4 sets, the price is rock bottom. Give us a call.
